The Plenary Assembly is the decisional core of AARC and consists of rectors of all AARC member universities.

The Plenary Assembly usually meets once a year and adopts all important resolutions.  If necessary, an extraordinary meeting can be called if requested by at least one third of the members.

In order for decisions to be made, at least one third of the rectors, or their authorized delegates, must participate in the Plenary Assembly.
