Date: 17th-31th July, 2022 – Bovec, Slovenia

The Bovec Summer school attracts every year university students from Italy, Slovenia, Austria, Croatia, Bosnia-Hercegovina and Bulgaria for a multicultural, multilingual two-week course in the little Alpine village of Bovec (also known as Plezzo in Italian and Flitsch in German), located in Slovenia near the Italian and Austrian borders. The aim of the initiative is to promote reciprocal knowledge among university students in the multinational Alps-Adriatic region. Every year courses deal with a different specific topic related to cultural, social, historic issues common to the Alps-Adriatic regions. Courses are held in Italian, Slovenian and German and include language lessons, conferences, seminars, workshops as well as local excursions.

The general topic of the Summer School 2022 is “Geteilte Erinnerung – Erinnerungskulturen”.
